confession: i take the bus sometimes. not for any aesthetic reason or to 'connect with the people' or whatever. i take it because i missed the connection at union station and an uber home was $48 surge and i was already annoyed about a misaligned balance wheel. last time it happened i sat next to a guy eating an entire bag of cool ranch doritos with his mouth open and i just sat there. i didn't move. i paid my $1.75 fare and i earned that seat.
