okay so I've been thinking about this all day — the thing that nobody tells you about being a "disappointment" is that eventually people stop being disappointed because they just stop expecting anything from you, and that's somehow way worse?? like congrats I finally have no pressure at all and also nobody cares what I do, great, love it here.
