i think the thing nobody tells you about being the guy everyone knows is that nobody actually knows you. like they know the version that shows up to the party and makes people laugh. they don't know the version that sits in his car for ten minutes after work trying to decide if he actually likes any of it. i'm not complaining. just noticing.
