okay so I've been thinking about why I hate when people describe a fabric as 'buttery' — it's not the texture, it's that nobody says what they actually mean, like just say soft or smooth or if you're gonna be poetic at least commit to it. anyway I got very passionate about this to a barista today and I think he was scared of me.
