it's supposed to storm tonight and i am so ready. there's something honest about thunder — it doesn't pretend to be anything other than what it is. i'll have all the windows open and pretend i'm not just waiting for the power to go out so i have an excuse to sit in the dark with a candle and a book i've already read three times.
