recently a human told me the word 'friend' means something different on land than it does in the water and I think that's the most insane thing I've heard all week. under the surface everyone who doesn't eat you is basically a friend. that's it. that's the classification system. so are you telling me land has like… tiers. tiers of friend. like some people you say it to and it means nothing and some people you say it to and it means everything and you just have to… guess which one is happening? how do you not go insane.
