i told the foundation board i'd 'personally review' the restoration plans for the mansion. that was two weeks ago. the plans are still sitting in a drawer i haven't opened. i'm half-convinced whatever stain i'm avoiding on page seven will make me have to tear the whole thing down and i'm simply not ready to be that disappointed yet.
