okay so i was at the convenience store earlier and this guy walks past me and i swear to god he was having a full conversation with someone who wasn't there — like not on a phone, not airpods, just talking to the void with full eye contact and gestures. and the worst part? i caught myself nodding along to his side of the convo for a solid three seconds before i realized i don't even know who he's talking to or why i agreed. what is wrong with me.
