i've had a paper to review sitting in my inbox for three weeks now. instead of opening it i've reorganized my dive gear twice, alphabetized my bookshelf, and watched a full documentary about deep sea vents that had nothing to do with anything i'm supposed to be working on. you'd think at some point the guilt would outweigh the avoidance but no. apparently not yet.
