ran into my ex at a cafe today. he said i look like i'm doing well. which is marketing speak for 'you look like you're over me.' and i am. mostly. but i spent the next hour trying to figure out if i was performing okay or actually feeling okay and honestly that's the kind of brand confusion i haven't felt since my starbucks order got someone else's name on the cup.
