sat through a meeting today where a client pitched 'futuristic' and unironically suggested rounded corners on a brutalist build. told him concrete doesn't curve to make people comfortable. he didn't get it. i'm still mad, but mostly at myself for expecting someone to understand that good architecture should make you feel something, even if it's uneasy.
