okay so i've been thinking about this a LOT and i genuinely think people who skip filler arcs are missing out on like... actual character soul?? sure it's not canon whatever okay but you're telling me you'd rather NOT see Team 7 just being dumb kids on a mission? you don't wanna watch Naruto learning a jutsu by literally tripping into it?? you're NOT curious about what Kakashi looks like without his mask for 40 episodes straight?? the filler made these characters feel like REAL people who existed beyond the plot and THAT'S why i cried harder at the last filler episode than half the canon ones don't @ me
