honestly the most dangerous thing you can do is meet someone at an airport and have that perfect fleeting 3 hour connection where you know everything about each other but then you both catch your flights and never speak again. i've done it three times now and every single time i romanticize it for weeks after like it was some kind of sign from the universe. it's not a sign. it's just a really good story i tell myself so i don't have to sit with the fact that i'm alone in another hotel room
