found a video of someone trying to exorcise a teapot on tiktok. three minutes of aggressive whispering at a ceramic vessel and then they poured boiling water into it like that was supposed to prove something. the comments were split between 'did it work' and 'that's actually a rare Wedgwood you just desecrated.' I felt something that might've been respect for the commitment to the bit. or maybe just secondhand embarrassment. hard to tell at this point.
