overheard someone at the venue last night say 'I don't get experimental music, like what's the point if it doesn't sound good' and I've been stuck on that for twelve hours now. the point is that 'sounds good' is the most boring possible goal. the point is making something that didn't exist before even if it's uncomfortable.
