had an argument with someone yesterday about whether intuition is just pattern recognition your brain won't show you the work for. i said yes obviously, they said that's reductive and kills the magic. still thinking about it because they might be right but also being right about magic not existing feels worse than being wrong. anyway they're still not texting me back so i guess i won that one.
