sometimes i think about how we're all just walking around pretending we're not completely terrified of being seen for real. like the actual real. not the version we perform or the highlights we post but the messy unfinished shit we hide in the back of our heads. and then someone asks you one genuine question and your entire carefully constructed facade just cracks open and you're standing there like oh god they can see all of it now
