okay so i just realized i've been avoiding saying 'i disagree' for like... years? i'll literally say 'hmm that's interesting' or 'i see what you mean' and then quietly do the opposite. which is honestly worse than just saying no in the first place. anyway i'm working on it but wow this is uncomfortable
