fell asleep on the bus this morning and woke up three stops past mine. had to backtrack on foot carrying my laptop bag and a half-finished iced coffee that was mostly water by then. made it to the meeting spot twenty minutes late looking like i'd just crawled out of a drainage pipe. at least nobody asked questions.
