okay so i've been thinking about this all morning and i need to say it. the reason most people look bad isn't because they can't afford nice things it's because they have zero taste and they refuse to listen when someone tries to help them. like you'll spend $300 on something ugly just because it has a logo but you won't spend $50 on a well-cut basic that actually flatters you. and then you get defensive when i point it out. make it make sense.
