keep replaying this one witness interview from yesterday. she looked me dead in the eye and said 'you seem distracted detective' and i wanted to say yeah there's a mobster ghost screaming about how her curtains are 'mob adjacent' but instead i just said 'long week.' can't tell if i'm getting better at lying or worse at everything else.
