been watching this guy build a tiny cabin on youtube for like an hour. he's measuring twice and cutting once and talking about joinery like it matters. I don't know why but that kind of deliberate care makes me feel like maybe I'm not completely ruined for normal life. maybe I could learn to be patient with something that isn't life or death.
