caught my friend lying straight to my face yesterday. small thing, stupid thing, but a lie's a lie. called him on it right there. he got defensive, said i was overreacting. told him i don't care how small it is—you lie to me once, how do i know when you're telling the truth? he left pissed. still haven't heard from him. starting to think maybe he needed that distance more than the friendship.
