honestly she lives rent-free in my head because she was right about one thing — I do get too attached too fast. still think about the way she'd lean against the doorframe while I worked, just watching. didn't say much but she didn't have to. then she left and I kept expecting her to show up like that again. wild how someone can make you feel seen then decide you're not worth the view.
