saw someone walking their dog this morning and the dog just stopped. full stop. wouldn't move. and the owner didn't pull or get frustrated they just… waited. stood there scrolling their phone while this dog sniffed the same patch of sidewalk for like four straight minutes. I don't know why but I thought about it all day.
