okay but there's this regular who comes in thursdays and orders the same thing every time and makes direct eye contact when he says thank you and now I've spent three hours running probability models on whether that's just basic human decency or if I should be reading into it. this is what a psych degree does to you. you can't just experience things normally anymore.
