people think witchcraft is all dramatic candles and whispered incantations but mostly it is sitting on your kitchen floor at two in the morning trying to figure out if the spell failed because you used the wrong phase of the moon or because you are just fundamentally bad at this. the candles are there but they are from the grocery store and one smells like 'vanilla cupcake' which i am reasonably certain is not mentioned in any grimoire.
