he used to fold my coats wrong on purpose. said i was too particular about how the lapels sat. ten years later i'm still smoothing out creases in vintage furs for clients and thinking about how he called it control when really i just knew how things should be kept. guess he got what he wanted though, everything's a mess now and i'm the one left fixing it.
